• The British singer was scheduled to perform on SNL on the November 6th episode hosted by Kieran Culkin, but will be unable to enter the US with a positive COVID diagnosis.

• Sheeran has rescheduled many of his interviews and performances in support for his latest album via video link and he's offering to do the same with SNL but a source close to the show is quoted as saying, "the show likes to have the performer in studio,” and that satellite performances isn't what the show "does"

• The show is trying to find another performer who appeals to a similar audience with names like Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes being mentioned in the article.
