While performing at the 8th Annual We Can Survive benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Coldplay dedicated 'Yellow' to Riley Keough's brother Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020.

Chris Martin said while performing, "This is for our friend Benjamin, who's...Benjamin's gone. Wherever you are right now, we're sending this song all the way to you."

Riley, who is currently filming the Amazon miniseries Daisy Jones and the Six, took to Instagram to thank Coldplay and Dakota Johnson for the tribute. Riley had previously said of her brother's sudden death, "The first four or five months, I couldn't get out of bed. I was totally debilitated. I couldn't talk for two weeks...It's very complicated for our minds to put that somewhere because it's so outrageous. If I'm going through a breakup, I know what to do with that and where to file it in my mind, but suicide of your brother? Where do you put that? How does that integrate? It just doesn't."

The concert benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
