This week sees Brother Day visit the home planet of Luminism, a religion with 3 trillion adherents and a rising leader who opposes the genetic dynasty that's ruled for 400 years. Demerzel the hidden robot helper of the emperor clones is a believer of Luminism, bringing up questions about the reasons for belief. On Trantor Brother Dawn is taken to a brothel by Brother Dusk but falls in love instead. And Terminus continues to break my heart.
Last week had terrible action because of
covid. But we also learned the reason for the radical changes the show made. As the books were written as short stories spanning centuries a direct adaption would be akin to an anthology show. Something Goyer states was considered but outright
rejected by all potential buyers of the show.
