Paris Hilton pushes for US youth care abuse reform
Click to viewHours ago, Paris Hilton advocated in favour of the bill on children's treatment centers. She talked about how she couldn't sleep for years because of her loneliness, the violence she faced and the loss of her years in the 'troubled teen' industry. She also detailed that she was strangled, slapped across the face, watched in the shower, called vulgar names, thrown into solitary confinement in a room covered with blood and scratch marks all over and given medication without diagnosis. No one deserves this kind of treatment, and especially not a 'troubled' child because they are the most in need of protection and good care. I applaud her for sharing her story and trying to make a change, even when she didn't have to.
