A Quiet Place 2 reunion!

Emily Blunt is in talks to has joined Cillian Murphy in Christopher Nolan's upcoming biopic. Emily is up for the role of will play Katherine "Kitty" Vissering, the wife of J. Robert Oppenheimer (Murphy), who was the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb.

Kitty was a German-American biologist, botanist, and a member of the Communist Party of America. It remains to be seen if Nolan will take the time to acknowledge Kitty's own interesting backstory or nah.

Oppenheimer will be based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The film was the subject of a heated bidding war among almost every major studio with Universal winning.

Upcoming Oscars for Cillian and Emily when??

ETA: Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Emily Blunt has officially signed on.
