Pokémon is holding its first real life Pokémon Contest with the pets of trainers. Trainers can submit photos of their pets in 3 categories: cute, cool and smart. One member of the judges panel is no other than Michelle visage, known as the ruthless judge from Ru Paul’s drag race fame

I thought the games stopped Contests after Gen 3. I had so much fun trying to get my pokemon to be best in show in the Cool category.

They appear in generations III, IV and VI

I know I remembered doing contests in the recent past games but after googling realize it was in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire 🤦‍♀️

since Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is coming out this month it makes sense that they're bringing it back. according to Bulbapedia there were Pokemon Super Contests in gen IV

I still continue my pokemon marathon and finished DP battle dimension and now watching DP Galactic Battles.

I love how ash is learning so many different ways of battling while watching Dawn and the contests.
