Disney has dropped a new release calendar for Marvel for 2022 and beyond and things are moving or outright being dropped from the schedule. No reason was given but its probably IATSE related

Iron man came out in 2008. So it hasn't been that long yet.

marvel movies, not mcu movies. the first spider-man was released in may of 2002. they've pretty consistently parked a release in the first weekend in may since then.
