He said it about Elton John lol - basically that he'd been No 1 here for 16 weeks, and could probably do another if he released the signed albums he had, but wasn't going to/was essentially going to 'let' Elton be number 1.

Pffffttttt. Please! I always think about how our generation looks back at the 60's to 90's and we have our iconic songs. I feel like 50 yrs from now Beyonce, Adele, etc will be listened to the way we listen to Whitney, Elton, ABBA, etc.

Ed Sheeran and his mediocre resume of songs which all blends together WILL NOT!
