-The View continues its historic 25th season with a series of bts podcast interviews with former co-hosts and this most recent one saw Sara Haines sit down to speak with Raven and Candace Cameron Bure who were part of the shows 19th season.
-They both talk about being catfished by the show. When they were approached about joining the show full time they were told that the show was looking to go in a lighter, more fun route compared to previous years something both were excited to tackle.
-That all changed when the Cheeto won the election and the show became very heavy on politics once again. Neither felt up to par to discuss politics as it wasnt something that they regularly spoke about in their everyday lives let alone publicly.
-Both chose to not renew their contracts at the end of the year as they weren't interested in the shows direction and Candace knew she couldn't handle being the conservative punching bag.
-They are grateful for being part of the show as it did help open new opportunities for them. Raven had retired from the industry but The View helped bring a resurgence to her career and lead to Ravens Home.
-All 3 of them praise just how amazing the cast & crew are behind the scenes and how it's the highlight of working on the show.
