Disgraced reality housewives star, Erika Jayne, 50, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to repost a fan's post about Ronald Richards, the attorney overseeing the liquidation of her estranged husband’s law firm. The fan's post claimed that Richards "should be disbarred for ‘unethical practice’" by allegedly "slandering" Jayne for "misconduct the courts never charged her for!"
The user further claimed Richards "undermined the judicial system by making accusations & insinuations in hopes it will inspire public opinion to override the courts," before adding, "this behavior is dangerous & reckless for our society! Everyone should take notice."
"This is exactly how CHRIST died," the post concluded.
While these weren't exactly Jayne's own words, she did repost it on her Instagram stories, causing swift backlash for implying that being slammed in the court of public opinion is the same as Jesus being crucified on the cross.
Jayne backtracked on her Instagram Stories, writing: "This is not a post comparing @theprettymess to Christ. It’s comparing an unethical lawyer who is trying to undermine this judicial system by persuading the courts to ACT based on public opinion and not by the law. Just like the pharisees did to Christ."
