This makes no sense but I feel like I'm looking at someone with no eyebrows in that still even though she has eyebrows.

I’m baffled how they just became non entities despite growing bigger! They were much more expressive and Present when they were thin.

ETA: her brows are so much lighter now that they are bigger, and I think they blend in with her skin color. Compare to TVD says when they were thinner and colored in dark brown, they really popped and framed her face.

Yeah, she's been looking off for the past few years. Never could quite figure out why...her face is definitely more gaunt, but she looks quite a bit different from her TVD days.

She had her lids done after she left TVD. She had hooded eyes before, but then she got them done to...not be hooded, I guess, but it made them look super deep set and aged her terribly.

Yep, bad blepharoplasty. She should have waited until she got older since you naturally lose volume there as you age.

She is, definitely. It's just that the difference happened so quickly, it's jarring, especially because she has the blocky eyebrows and wears so little eye makeup now.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm wondering if the fact that she seems to wear so little eye makeup these days is possibly because she has some blepharoplasty-induced dry eye. Sometimes that happens when the newly altered lid either exposes more of the conjunctiva (white) of the eye or doesn't close fully when the person sleeps (or both!). I'm completely conjecturing and obviously this may not be the case at all, but eyeshadow/mascara fall out can be super irritating when one suffers from dry eye (I speak from personal experience here, but only in terms of the dry eye part, not the blepharoplasty).

There was a moment where Kim K had that same hollow look but then I think she started using lots of filler to combat it.

Thanks bb! It used to be worse, but I've found ways to combat it in recent years that have really helped.

I think it's really sad that someone as naturally stunning as Nina Dobrev feels the pressure to get work done, especially at such a young age. Not that that's an uncommon urge these days for anyone, especially thanks to social media and the Kardashians (imo), but I imagine the pressure in Hollywood must be exponentially higher. It sucks. Though, to your original point, she's still super lovely.
