• SNL returns for its forty-seventh season, with first time host Owen Wilson and musical guest Kacey Musgraves.
• Earlier this week the show announced the departure of veteran cast member Beck Bennett and one season wonder Lauren Holt. Bowen Yang and Chloe Fineman were both promoted to the main cast, and the show added three new featured players.
• The show is live on both coasts, and for the first time it's available to stream live on Peacock's premium subscription tier.
