๐Ÿน I empathise somewhat with the fear regarding the vaccine, for it is something new that had not previously existed - such fear is natural, I empathise with that. But I believe that if we fear things of the past, there will be no progress for the future.pic.twitter.com/oKX7Dy0SeR

๐Ÿ’œ Kpop kings BTS and South Korean President Moon Jae-in sat down with BTS ABC News anchor Juju Chang to talk about the band's new role as "special presidential envoys for future generations and culture".

๐Ÿ’œ Other highlights from the interview, besides Jin saying vaccines are scary because they're new:

๐Ÿ’œ Jungkook longs to perform in person for the fans again."Rather than photoshoots or TV shows, I could do concerts all day long. That's the biggest loss for me."

๐Ÿ’œ J-Hope hopes "many people get vaccinated, and it becomes possible for us to safely have a concert. That's what the fans want, and what we want."

๐Ÿ’œ President Moon chose BTS to harness the "great power" of culture, which he said is gradually superseding economic or military power. Korean culture "shows national prestige" and Moon receives "a lot of help from them on the diplomatic stage."
