Rewatched There Will Be Blood last night for the first time since it was released... appreciated it like 100% more this time around. The cinematography alone, my god.



I still think NCfOM is a more exciting watch - I'll have to rewatch it soon to compare - but PTA really knows how to put together an incredible film. I can't wait for Licorice Pizza.

Also recently watched The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which I enjoyed. Curious to see if Jessica can leg it out through awards season because she's great in it, but it's so early that I have my doubts.

I wasn't a fan of The Guilty, but I appreciate Jake's commitment to playing deeply unlikeable characters.

Planning on going to see The Nowhere Inn tonight, followed by a live St. Vincent show tomorrow night! Good timing on the release.

I fucking love "There Will Be Blood" sooooooooo much. I love the relationship between DDL and his son. That final scene between them is so sad. "A Bastard from a basket". ;_;
