Tom Hopper and Kat Graham to star in Netflix’s ‘Love in the Villa’.

It follows a woman who takes a trip to Verona, Italy, after a break up, only to find the villa she reserved was double-booked, and she’ll have to share it with a cynical (and very good-looking) British man. pic.twitter.com/Lccm8x2Yj1

He’s gorgeous but I hated his character so much on Black Sails lol

Does Black Sails get better from the second season onwards? I quit 2 episodes before the season 1 finale because I hated everything they had Max go through.

yes, it gets much much better. Season one actually becomes retroactively better after you've seen season 2. [Regarding Max]Other than a brief instance in S4, I don't believe sexual assault is shown on-screen again. It does continue to be an important part of Max's backstory and comes up for other characters, but is handled much better. I just marathoned the whole show (twice) for the first time this spring and I highly recommend it.

Black Sails season 2 and onward is a goddamn masterpiece and I say this as someone who did not care for season 1 but retroactively appreciates what it set up. Max has some of the best character arcs in the show too. It's honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Wow, those are high praises! Maybe I'll give it another shot. I really wanted to love it.

Echoing everyone else that the rest of the show is massively better than season 1.
