I already like Rebecca Hall as an actor, so I am looking forward to seeing her work as a director, plus it's got a great cast.

I’m scared to watch that movie honestly.

I was too! And I haven’t seen it since even though her performance is one of my favorites ever. I’ve dealt with depression for most of my life and the film’s depiction of Christine’s state of mind really resonated with me. Definitely not a light watch but in a way it was comforting to see some of my own experiences outside of myself and feel a level of sympathy and care that I don’t always extend to myself, ya know?

I've wanted to watch it but held off bc I was afraid of how they might show her death. Is it graphic?

Hmm it depends on the person but I would say no. It wasn’t sensationalized or anything like that, but you do see her death as it happened. The camera doesn’t pull away as it takes place but also doesn’t linger on her after the fact which I appreciated

ok, yeah. I think I'll have to skip it. Or if I watch the movie, fast forward through that part. Thanks for answering.

No worries, I totally understand why you’d want to avoid it. And I don’t think it would lessen the impact or quality of the film if you skipped over that part!
