New Charmed showrunner vows to improve show
Thanks for writing this. You make a lot of great points, and you’re right - the queer representation has been super problematic. All I can say is that we hear you, and one of our goals in taking over is to spend these 13 episodes fixing that. Hopefully in ways that surprise you.

-One of the 3 new showrunners on Charmed has taken to twitter to let fans know that they plan on improving the show now that they have power to do so. and wont be mind being held accountable for the storylines if fans continue to dislike them.
-Fans have complained about the shows lack of sisterly bonding and general interactions along with how poorly they've treated Mels love life with women compared to her straight sisters love interests getting 10x the focus.
-The official synopsis for Season 4 reads as: In Season 4 of “Charmed,” Mel and Maggie find their lives transformed by the death of their beloved sister, Macy. But when their grief threatens to undo the Power of Three forever, the surprising arrival of a third Charmed One (Barrett) gives them a renewed opportunity to fulfill their destinies. And this couldn’t come at a better time, because a mysterious new enemy is rising in the shadows, instilling fear in every corner of the magical world. But as this new foe draws the Charmed Ones and their allies Harry (Evans) and Jordan (Donica) deeper into a twisted game, will this new trio be ready for what’s to come?
YES! More sisterhood, more laughs, more oddball characters. That’s the plan. Some of those Season 1 episodes are still my favorites.

...I'm also REALLY excited about Season 4. We've all worked so hard, and I truly think it'll be the best season yet. Plus I'm REALLY excited about Lucy Barrett, who blew EVERYONE's mind in auditions. So for the sake of Lucy and the 200 people who work on Charmed...

Then if you hate something, I'll gladly take the blame. Cuz this time it'll actually be my fault (and Jeff and Nicki's). And we'll talk through it. And admit if we were wrong. But I'm hopeful that what we have planned WILL be the version of Charmed that this fandom deserves. Thx!
