Lil Nas X Floods Spotify Top Charts with Newly Released "Montero" Tracks
Lil Nas X's debut album Montero was released this Friday, and has made instant impact on the global and US-based Spotify streaming charts! Pictured above is the US chart, with five tracks off Montero debuting and/or rising to the top ten: "INDUSTRY BABY" ft. Jack Harlow returns to #1, new single "THAT'S WHAT I WANT" debuts at #2, "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)" rises to #6, "SCOOP" ft. Doja Cat sits at #7, and, finally, "DOLLA SIGN SLIME" ft. Megan Thee Stallion enters the chart at #9.
Globally, the album fared just as well, with three tracks in the global top ten: "INDUSTRY BABY" at #2, "THAT'S WHAT I WANT" at #3, and "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)" at #4. He joins Olivia Rodrigo as one of the top 2 streaming debuts for an album on Spotify this year:
