You may remember this post from a few days ago about an alleged squabble on the set of Expats, the new Amazon series from Lulu Wang starring Nicole Kidman. In short, observers claimed that Wang and Kidman were seen arguing on set, Kidman left the set in a huff, and subsequently left the country.

But you wouldn't know that there's been any trouble on set by looking at social media. Wang recently posted several updates, including a photo of Kidman and her newly announced costar, Brian Tee. She also retweeted a retweet about the casting news:

Actors, take note: Brian Tee slayed this audition, but he won the producers and Nicole over when he was just talking to them about his family.

Be real. Be yourself. Especially if yourself is a super nice guy like my friend Brian. https://t.co/rlK6HePm6l

Kidman is Twitterless, and her instagram only has recent updates on her series Nine Perfect Strangers, which is currently airing on Hulu.

- The series is based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s novel The Expatriates.
- Brian Tee will be playing Kidman's character's husband. He is most recently known for a role on Chicago Med, which is filming now.
- Deadline had this to say about Kidman's departure: Kidman recently wrapped filming the first part of her role in Hong Kong to segue to the Aquaman sequel as scheduled. She will return to the show at a later date.
