These make me feel so old. I remember the WB being shady with that 'series finale' stuff. And how distinctive the red Buffy Lives poster was. I would love a little print of that, come to think of it.

Buffy was absolutely everything to me between age 11 and 22. I was only a few weeks from my 12th birthday when Buffy started and I lived and breathed that show. I went to uni the year the finale aired and my late bff bonded over our shared love of Buffy. We were actually in the middle of a Buffy and Angel retrospective when she died in 2007. I didn't know this when I met my wife but she had actually been pretty popular in the Willow/Tara fic fandom. You guys should see my Buffy/celeb scrapbooks from my teen years. Mega embarrassing and also mega cool; like the article about Porta de Rossi talking about her boyfriend or the one where Dina Lohan promises she will take Lindsay out of showbiz if she gets spoiled.

How I feel about Buffy has changed a lot over the years - let's just say I'm very glad I have no fandom tattoos - but it will always have a special place in my heart even though I now see some of the characters and episodes and relationships very differently and very negatively.
