I was complaining about missing master chef and then a kind user told me there has been a new season airing since June (they really dropped the ball on promo if someone who watches every season had no idea!) so I’ve been watching an episode or two of that every night lol

Gonna go see The Card Counter and Language Lessons, and I'll probably watch Kate and Come From Away at home. Wish the reviews for Queenpins were better bc I love Kirby.

Oooh, and I bought tickets for a screening of In the Mood for Love! The last couple screenings sold out before I could buy tickets, but they added another one, so I finally get to see that this weekend.

Last night we watched The Dig on Netflix. I liked it - nothing amazing, but I enjoy Carey Mulligan and it had a good supporting cast. There was a "some sensuality" warning at the start of the film and I was legit worried it was gonna be between Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes, but thankfully it was not!!

Recently finished our Cowboy Bebop rewatch, which only reaffirmed that it's gonna be extremely tough to do a good live action version, and caught up on Only Murders in the Building. My husband was meh on it til this week's ep, but now he's into it.

I should be excited at the prospect of a new Scorcese and Schrader project but subject matter is leaving me cold. I've seen this movie too many times now and I don't care about Isaacs and his work nearly enough.
The Duplass movie looks like some bullshit. He couldn't have a teacher/love interest his age in this? Why the fuck not? He is NOT cute enough to get away with this at his age.

I did a journaling class that Jonah Feingold & Ilana Dunn (from when he was a co-host of Seeing Other People) were a part of. He was very nice, so I'm definitely going to support him.

I was finally able to watch Class Action Park, which was really interesting. I'm cat sitting right now and they have HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Prime and Paramount+, so I've got a ton to choose from this week! Gonna watch all the horror!
