Deadline reports that Usher, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Julianne Hough will be co hosts on a new reality/competition series for CBS.
Global Citizen is producing a new show called The Activist, a five-week reality series premiering on Friday, Oct. 22.
Per Deadline: “The Activist is a competition series that features six inspiring activists teamed with three high-profile public figures working together to bring meaningful change to one of three vitally important world causes: health, education, and environment.”
The participants will compete in head to head challenges in hopes of winning a chance to go to G20 Summit in Rome, Italy. There they will bid their causes and hope to get funding.
There will be musical performances as well.
