We certainly learned from Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson that some people can just not want kids with that specific partner or whatever, but goddamn, this is so fast.

The opposite happened with me. My ex and I planned to have kids. He’s married to someone else now and they don’t want kids. IDK how you can change your mind like that after a certain point tbh, but I feel like he never actually wanted them

I honestly think its that. Sometimes in relationship people will compromise or deluded themselves because they like their partner and wanna keep the relationship. But deep down they know what they actually want.

In your case, it worked out for you cause you did find someone who DOES want a kid.

Yes! I broke off our engagement because I needed a partner and he just kind of did whatever I wanted, so I’m sure it was that. And also I was in love with someone else, but that was just the catalyst.

I've never known someone in recovery but I've read stuff from people here who say thats not the healthiest or wisest of decisions!

Honestly from the last posts we had a while back....Olivia does look like she noticed it was John season and she went hunting. That whole thing about her going to his church and a wedding iirc when he was with his wife....kinda too close for comfort. She's been waiting to make her move for a whileeeee now.
