His living relatives (who never supported him when he was alive) and his estate are messy as hell and make Selena's father seem reasonable. I admit that as a fan it's nice to get more licensed things; the problem is they license all types of cheap shit that would have the real Basquiat twirling in his grave because they're all blatant money grabs.

Exactly; he would never, unless he was still alive and actually making one-of-a-kind designs on bags for the subversiveness. The Brant Museum were also selling jogging pants for $100. :/ I can understand the Kidrobot and Dr. Marten collaborations but a lot of the stuff recently is just no.
