OP same, my dad is really into formula 1 and growing up we'd always watch it while eating lunch and we always rooted for schumi. what happened to him is so devastating

i just watched the trailer and i feel like crying. i'm guessing the first person talking is his dad? they look really alike. and his daughter is beautiful

Lmao, this is exactly like me and my dad: Sunday lunch and a Formula 1 race. :') My dad is a Ferrari fan through and through and I'm more of an individual driver kind of person no matter the team but Schumi is someone we both love.

Same here! Always watched it during sunday lunch. Dad is still a huge Ferrari fan and I still don't care or enjoy F1 lmao It's just not for me.

Same here. My dad and I were the only F1 fans at home and that was our little bonding time.

I won't be able to watch this. I grew up with Schumi. It's so sad what happened to him.

I still can't believe what happened to him :( so fucked up, you spend decades driving fast, dangerous cars, you retire and then skiing fucks you up... horrible

I started watching f1 in '97 so he IS the sport for me. the image of him storming down the pitlane to fight coulthard is burned into my retinas lol

Aw shucks, I just know I’ll get teary eyed watching this even though I like just got into the sport like yesterday. I’ve been watching those old F1 reviews on YouTube that highlighted his dominance with Ferrari.

Definitely going to watch the doc, but I do sort of hope it doesn’t gloss over his controversies in the sport just because it of course contributes to him as an athlete. I also hope that there’s a focus on his return to Mercedes which wasn’t like his prime but still showed his skill and surely contributed to success enjoyed by the team.

It’s honestly so terrible what happened to him.
