Something people forget: Warner Brothers had this same problem (or something very similar) and you know what they did?

They paid their talent. Went "u right" and gave them the money they probably would have made with a traditional release.

I'm reminded of how Jim Starlin got paid more for a quick cameo of a lesser known villain he created in the DCEU than for Thanos' entire appearance in the MCU. He's settled with Marvel since then, but it's a constant reminder of how much these companies hate paying their talent, especially it's writers.

I just think Disney really thought they can get away with it. I'm just glad it didn't.

It's funny that I have to side with Scarlett on this, but someone high profile has to fight against them at some point.

This shed a lot of light and exposed Disney of how they treat their female actors compared to their male counterparts.
