Do I feel “bad” for her? No. She’s more okay than I ever will be. But that doesn’t mean the ramifications of what they’ll do to her career and reputation aren’t serious or real and I do think that’s scary as fuck. Look at her costars like RDJ and Chris Evans - they’re out of the MCU but have they said anything to defend her or even something non-commital? Not a goddamn thing, and that’s probably bc fucking with Disney is not something lightly done. Fuck them anyways. Ok, she’s mad about a few million when she’s already a millionaire. So? Why should Disney keep it then? They’re a billion dollar company.

Classic shit. An individual can be bad, yes but the harm they do can hardly be compared to the reach and harm done by huge, wealthy corporations such as Disney but I guess that’s too nebulous a concept to grasp.

a case like this will set precedent for contracts dealing with streaming content for years to come. I feel like people forget that Scarlett Johansson grew up in relative poverty in government housing while on food stamps (I know this for a fact due to we were in the same social circles as children...she had a full Financial aid package to attend Her hIgh school)...
