Yeah most people who lose their job one why or another are not necessarily destitute with no other means… right away. Hopefully people save up have something to fall back on.

But in what world are you living in the losing a source of income, especially for those that this is their only source of income, does not effect someone at least negatively if not catastrophically. And I’m not even taking into account we are in the middle of a pandemic which will make people that once had a job where they were able to work from home now have to make what is potentially a life or death decision me when it comes to finding new work.

Your comment comes off super flippant to me. Maybe you have never lost a job or done sex work, idk. I have so I’m coming from a place of empathy when it come to the people that will be effected by this. It may be a small or a great amount depending on everyones situation but I still feel this is a huge deal.
