The wildest thing to me about this pandemic is the duality of we not me, in terms of controlling cases, coupled with watching our own asses and taking precautions to try and protect ourselves and mitigate personal risk against a backdrop of half the population trying to get us sick. Smh.

I love the elderly but some of them are just nasty and stupid. And it gets amplified I swear. If you were a nightmare at 30-40 you are gonna be hell on wheels at 70-90.

Ugh, grocery store customers lol. My mom is a cashier and last week one of the baggers (a man, not that it matters but made it more unexpected/ridiculous) told this old guy "sir, aisle 7 is open if you want to go over there" since he would've been next instead of like third in line. The bagger said it one more time bc the guy didn't respond and he thought he didn't hear. but then the customer says, "you just want me to go over there bc you're a lazy bitch!!!"
Thankfully the customer in front of him spoke up and said "no he isn't!" but still. I do not miss working in retail at all D:

Oh fuck. I had this bitch at the post office a few weeks ago.

I'm still wearing masks in public because I have immune compromised people at home (and I would still wear one even if I didn't - being a decent human and all)... and this old bitch makes fun of me while we're standing in line (and all the postal workers are masked too)...and I fucking let her have it in front of 9 people. I don't even care anymore. Normally, I would just ignore assholes and move on, but this shit just pisses me off so damn bad.

My nephew and his new wife are EMT and Covid ward nurses...both have had it, TWICE. Both vaccinated. Watched people die of this shit. I'm taking care of people who can't get vaccinated....

FUCK selfish bastards. I'm over it. I'm not going to be nice. These fuckers are the reason we're still IN THIS MESS.
