Geena was perfect in the role so it worked out (probably one of the rare films where I never think about the 'what if?' with the original casting) Her and Lori Petty had great chemistry and I believed them as sisters.

I love this film so much. I used to watch it religiously as a kid and I still watch it every year. I always get teary at the end! Love Hanks in it too.

I played sports in high school and every team had the Madonna/Rosie friendship. Always so relatable

The combo of Madonna and Rosie was great. Not a Madonna fan, but I did like her in this movie.
