that's why i've never understood the people who get super rich and then immediately blow it on unreasonably expensive shit and end up going broke eventually.

like, if i made actor or pro sports player money, i would definitely buy myself and my parents/sister each a nice house and get myself a nice new car, but it wouldn't be anything obscenely huge or expensive. and then i'd put the rest in the bank so that i could live the rest of my life without having to worry about working again unless i wanted to. the literal dream!
