Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson threatens us with solo music

• Earlier today Jesy Nelson posted a video on Instagram teasing her solo music. The singer left Little Mix in December 2020 only a few weeks after the release of their sixth studio album.
• In the video Jesy declares that she is finally making the music she wants to make, and says some vague stuff about new chapters and manifesting her deepest wants.
• Throughout the video Nelson (who is a white woman with two white parents) is seen with a deep tan that would make Ariana Grande jealous and in vintage Sean John overalls. In a blink and you miss it moment she's seen wearing a grill.
• The video ends with Nelson promising her fans that new music is coming 'sooner' than they think. There's been speculation that her debut single will drop sometime around Little Mix's official ten year anniversary (August 19). There's also speculation that the single will feature Nicki Minaj.
