I got laser treatment to get a bit of blowout from my last tattoo removed and it looks so much better now. Looked like a black bruise on my arm before.

ANYWAY, think long and hard if you wanna ink up your face ONTD.

Ugh that’s what I’m probably going to have to do on my upper arm 😩

It cost a pretty penny but the sessions are fast and hurt a little less than getting a tattoo.

I better start saving up 😖 I’m glad to hear it’s less painful than the tattoo itself, though!

Fucking lucky re: the pain. I'm getting two on my wrist removed and the pain is AWFUL. I've had two abdominal surgeries, a jellyfish sting on my crotch, and swung an axe into my leg and the laser tattoo removal is worse than all of that.

I’m sorry, you SWUNG AN AXE INTO YOUR LEG??
How, and are you okay?

LMAO I was trying to cut down a small tree in my front yard and didn't have the right tools. 9 years later and I still have a very tender scar on my shin. My husband was livid I wouldn't go to the ER for it but there's not enough extra skin on your shins for stitches and I was uninsured so...weed and bandaids it was 🤷‍♀️

Do you live in an action movie with lumberjacks at sea or?

I WISH. Just live on an island with a very active summertime jellyfish population and bad luck on my part

I hadn't even considered laser treatment to correct blowout!! I was thinking of going to an artist to go around an existing tattoo in white ink to kind of lighten the blowout on it, but I wonder if laser would work better...There's a really good tattoo removal specialist in my city. I'll have to do a consultation!

Do you have any before/after pics you're comfortable sharing? I love a good tattoo fix.

Yeah at first I was like "well maybe I'll get more work around it" but it's line work so I really didn't want to add much to it. I looked up fixes online and most people said that if you can afford it laser is the way to go and most times blowouts are 99% removable

Unfortunately I don't. The tattoo is in my inner arm and just picture a black ink butterfly with a big black bruise next to one of the wings. Now it's gone!
