Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, and Nat Walker announced the breakup of the band, but did not mention 4th member Johnny Jewel, who's releasing his own music/doing collabs with other musicians on their record label.
They were going to release an album called Dear Tommy in 2014, but it remains unreleased. In 2017, it was revealed that Johnny Jewel destroyed all 15,000 CDs and 10,000 vinyls after a near-death experience that made him want to release something better.
Their cover of Neil Young's "Hey Hey, My My" was on Riverdale, and they performed their song Shadow on the Twin Peaks revival:
