Taking place 20 minutes into the future (that's a joke), The film kicks off in the aftermath of a tragic event and follows Donte (Abdul-Mateen II, "Aquaman", "Candyman" Something else ending in -man, "Matrix 4", "Mad Max: The Fury Road Prequel"), a man struggling to make ends meet who is forced to go on the run in a world without police, where justice is crowd-sourced.
So, 'pile on internet culture' but irl. Knowing we live in a world where justice is often not delivered by laws or police, hm let's see.
