Seriously. Just stop breastfeeding. Stop having kids. It's not hard.

tbf she does point out that there are days where she feels very grateful and all that. i guess this is just one of those times when a person complains to vent, not necessarily bc they regret their choices. I think it's weirder when women with 3-4 kids say they regret motherhood or something and I'm like ok it took all these kids to clue you in?

i don't think it sounds like she regrets her choices. it sounds like she was trying to be cute, but it was a weird thing to say nonetheless. the alternative would be grim otherwise.

it's not the same weight though, I imagine - giving up nursing and it's benefits completely vs the temporary nuisance of having to manage it. if she's like a lot of moms there are probably a few moments every few months where she's tired of it. most moms that nurse, want to do it.

i had a hysterectomy so i'll never know 🤷🏻‍♀️ but also you can't cutely complain about wanting your body back while having back-to-back babies without me saying something about it.

That's fair, she probably shouldn't have said anything publicly if she's really OK with it over all. feels like the kinda thing you share with others in the same/similar boat, not the whole world.

my toddler was 15 months when I became pregnant with my 2nd, and like a lot of babies he didn't like the change in taste caused by all the extra hormones so he weaned himself off in literally a day or 2 and I had a nice long break that I loved. nursing is taxing but most places they emphasize the benefits so much that it feels good if you're able to actually do it.
