But those are pacifiers. Pacifiers and thumbs stay in a kids mouth for potentially hours every day. Plus consider the different shapes of thumbs and pacifiers. They actively pull teeth outward. Unless someone has a peanut shaped nipple that tolerates getting chewed on for hours daily, breastfeeding post the eruption of deciduous teeth is fine.
