I can see where one may think her a boring actress, she isn’t necessarily flashy or melodramatic but she’s quite good overall I think. Also, she did seem to come out of nowhere but I wouldn’t really say she was shoved down everyone’s throats. Her roles were mainly like, indie prestige projects and I doubt the general public even knows who she is.

The thing is -- as an actress, she's good. But she doesn't have that spark or that screen presence that makes her memorable. That's always been her downfall.

She's cute, she's petite, she can do multiple accents and languages, and her tanned skin means they can use a white girl for multiple different ethnicities. She's a studio's dream.
