I'll get my second dose on monday and I am so damn scared lol my sister and my friends who had moderna said for a day or two they felt like dying. I already bought paracetamol so I am semi ready at least

It really does depend though cause I got both my shots and didn't experience any symptoms like everyone else. Same with my parents.

I am just happy that I am off and can be at home to rest. Hope my body can handle it better than I expect

If it helps, I had mine two weeks ago and it was exactly like the first dose -- slightly sore arm, slightly tired, otherwise fine.

I had a slight fever and bad muscle aches but it honestly was not that bad. Unless you are someone who really cannot handle being sick at all you'll be fine.

Each jab affects everyone differently. After I got the second dose my arm was really sore, it lasted for two days and then I was fine. The same thing happens when I get the flu shot.

I've heard lots of people getting "flu-like" reaction to the second Pfizer shot (including me), but it really seems like that second Moderna shot is on another level.
I feel like all the wild stories of vaccine reactions I'm hearing are from people who got that one.

Yeah lots of my friends got pfizer and they had semi okay reactions, my family got 2 doses sinovac and one dose pfizer and they were okay too. But my sister and her husband who I see as an example of healthy eating, working out etc. they were miserable lol we had a video call and they looked so pale, so tired. This is why I am scared a bit, plus I will get my period today or tomorrow so my body is already making me nervous lol

I was confined to bed for 2 days after my 2nd pfizer shot; slight fever, body aches, headache, felt sick (couldn't eat, even the thought of food made me feel like throwing up), couldn't stand without feeling like I was gonna pass out. It was rough but hey ho better than rona.

You also had it hard byt I am glad you are better now.

Definitely agree with the last part, I am just glad I don't have to work and can have a full rest at home

I had the Moderna, and the day after I was extremely tired and achy, my husband was too. Rest the day after, stay hydrated and take your paracetamol, it'll help!

I suggest you pencil in some extra time for sleep. I got my second dose of Moderna at 13.00 and then I became extremely tired at 17.30. I had to drag myself up the stairs to the bedroom and fell asleep the moment my head touched the pillow. I woke up again 7 hours later and stayed awake till 04.00 and felt fine when I woke up again a few hours later. The only other side effect was a sore upper arm for two days.

luckily I am off from work atm so I have couple of days to just rest. I can't sleep lately so maybe the 2nd dose making me sleepy would be actually very good
