It still baffles me that actors like Dev and Daniel Kaluuya came from Skins. There are quite a few from that cast that made it big after the show.

season 1 was def the seedling gen! Cause of majority of the well-known/successful ones are from that season. Jack O'Connell is the only one(?) who got successful after that season.

it's really half the gen one cast that came through - dev, daniel, nic hoult, and the two who got a bump from GOT (joe dempsie and hannah murray)

Yeah, to me he kind of wasted his talent going the easy route.
His earlier indie works post Skins are sooooo good ('71, Starred Up), I just wished he'd keep on choosing interesting projects and focus on his performance instead of focusing on getting successful by playing with big names.

you could also count Kaya for gen 1 since she originated on it and has been succesfull with landing roles in big movies like pirates of the caribbean 5 and the maze runner series

Kaya Scoledario hasn’t done too bad either with the maze runner movies and that ice skating show that I never watched 🤣

I feel like people keep forgetting Nic Hoult was already a name prior to Skins - he was the kid in that film with Hugh Grant, About A Boy.

Jacob Anderson/Raleigh Ritchie/Greyworm on GOT is also doing pretty well! He was a writer for Skins Gen 1 , and appeared one or twice in the show on Gen 3. He's really close friends with the Skins cast so I lump them in with that group.

Several Gen 3 actors are doing alright. None of them are huge but a lot of them have been consistently acting. Freya Mavor is a main on HBO’s Industry, Will Merrick was just in A Classic Horror Story on Netflix, Alex Arnold has been in tons of British productions, and Sean Teale and Jessie Sula have done lots of American films and TV shows. Jessie was one of the main girls in Split!

Lol sorry I’m super proud of Gen 3 I loved that cast and followed them the closest cause I got into the show a little late

The whole cast was amazing. I watched until Series 4 (I couldn't watch anymore after that finale 😭)

I never saw the third generation but I guess they were good too?
