i kind of hate this exchange, i know he's a public figure and i'm on a celeb gossip site lol but these tweets just feel extra invasive/weird somehow to me. idk maybe i'm being too sensitive but specifically entertainment writers/journalists (who have no personal relationship with bob odenkirk) being loudly worried on twitter reads performative and hollow to me

I agree. It's a private matter and we're not obligated to know unless it's shared.
Knew someone who worked PR for Cameron Boyce's agency and she told me a very upsetting story about when the news of his death broke, TMZ called threatening to insinuate he died of drugs if they didn't give them more details. The media doesn't get a pass before the family.

Yep. Not every thought needs to be tweeted, save it for the group chat with all your other weirdo critic friends that develop wild parasocial relationships.

Not sensitive at all. no body knows who anyone is irl here. These people are out here attention seeking under their full verified name like it’s just pathetic like I’m so sure in this stressful time Bobs PR people’s number one priority is to make sure they get back to Kate Arthur ASAP 🙄🙄
I remember back when Andy Whitfield's cancer meant he had to give up on Spartacus, people were hounding the actors for information. Erin Cummings straight up said she wasn't going to comment on the health of her friends, so stop asking.

A coworker of mine died a few years ago out of nowhere. Someone from the office pretended to be a family member and went to the coroner. It turns out the deceased woman had terminal cancer and committed suicide. It was sickening that my coworker felt her curiosity entitled her to this information.
I've asked his PR, and haven't heard back, and I'm extremely worried.
