I disagree that he isn't funny and I think he's talented with a great body of work - Groundhog Day in particular is actually a masterpiece. That being said he seems miserable and like a terrible person.

Thiiiiiis. Even as a child I remember not thinking his cameo in Little Shop of Horrors was funny. It's why I can't quite buy it when people say Ghostbusters is a perfect movie. What would it have been with John Belushi, who at least had charm.

I saw Ghostbusters for the first time a few years ago and was baffled by people claiming the all girl one was ruining Bill’s legacy. He was some sleazy douchebag in the movie and not shockingly his art mirrors real life.

Yeah Ghostbusters is nigh unwatchable these days if you don't have childhood nostalgia over it. I definitely enjoyed it as a kid and there's still a lot I really like about it but his character in that movie is straight up a piece of shit. It's super annoying to hear people wax poetic about the movie as though there's nothing wrong with it.
