-Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions while working in Canada, Kate Beckinsale revealed she hadn’t seen her daughter in over two years. During the interview she was in New York so she was finally get the chance to be reunited with her daughter. She said the idea of going two years without seeing your child is “preposterous

We still saw my Nanna, she was in her 90s with the start of dementia but there was enough of us that we still visited her. She ended up in hospital and they only allowed 2 visitors and it was the same 2 only and I wasn't one of them. It was strange to see her multiple times a week to not seeing her for months. Then she died. That's the part of the pandemic that has pissed me off the most.

I didn't see my parents for over a year. They only live on the other side of town to me lmao. But I'm immunosuppressed so it's been a terrifying time for me, and continues to be as I've learned that the meds I'm on might mean the vaccines won't work (we don't know, data isn't promising so far)

In the beginning I stayed inside myself for three months. After that it took a long time for me to visit my parents but as they don't live far I could bike past their house and wave. We're not very sentimental people anyway.

The rest of my family I haven't seen for a long time even before the pandemic because we are disorganized people. And some of them are conspiracy theorist on a low scale. I hang out more with my neighbors than with my immediate family.
