some people just can’t be believably cast in a period piece like sorry Jessica Biel you have a face that knows about text messaging

I think Adam's face works but not Matt and Ben.

Maybe its the creepy blond hair and soul patch on Ben cause he didn't look so out of place in shakespeare in love

mullet damon can get his ass back to the 21st century, no one's buying him in anything but action thrillers lmao

There isn't such thing as a modern face. If it looks modern, it's a sign that hair and make-up fucked up. And surprise, Jodie Comer wears mascara and eyeshadow in every shot while her haircolor clashes with her eyebrows and lashes.

They definitely should have hired whoever did the make-up on Scarlett Johannsen in Girl with the Pearl Earring. That was a great, convincing no make-up look on a "modern" face.

Ben Affleck sticks out like a sore thumb. I mean, there's zero credibility in his line delivery, it's not just the way he looks.

He was fine playing himself in Shakespeare in Love, but in something serious like this, no.

Ben Affleck shouldn't be cast in anything tbh. He's terrible, no matter what period the movie is based on. And I agree about Matt Damon too. Adam Driver, I don't know, he has talent, and his face is so peculiar that maybe it could work.
