Bridgerton, Game of Thrones prequel and more halt production due to covid resurgence

Multiple UK-based productions have shut down over the past several days due to rising covid-19 cases and positive tests among the crew. Multiple TV series have paused their shoots as well as a play directed by Kenneth Branagh, which has been cancelled. The most highly anticipated series included are season 2 of Bridgerton for Netflix and the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon for HBO.
