the finale of Loki is now streaming on Disney+

[recap]
After enchanting Aloith in the previous episode, Loki and Sylvie are at the entrance of "The Citadel". As they enter, they are greeted by Miss Minutes who makes them an offer on behalf of "He Who Remains", the entity responsible for the creation of the TVA. They can be reinsertated into the sacred timeline where thery can live together, but they both reject, still planning to kill the person incharge.
They come face to face with "He Who Remains" (Jonathan Majors). Sylvie instantly tries to kill him but fails as he knows their every move.

Meanwhile at the TVA, Renslayer sees that the files on her TemPad are different than the ones she requested Miss Minutes in the previous episode, but Miss Minutes tells her this is what He wants her to see. Just then, Mobius enters her office. After a brief chat, Mobius gives her two options, either she can stay at the TVA and help rebuild it or be pruned. Renslayer however knocks him down and tells him that she is leaving to find free will as she exits through a time door.

He explains to Loki and Sylvie that he created the TVA after a war erupted between him and his other variants. He offers them to either takeover for him and head the TVA. If they kill him, his variants will be freed and cause chaos over the timelime.

Sylvie wants to kill him, but Loki stops her from doing that worried about what "He Who Remains" might be true. A fight ensues between the two and Sylvie accuses Loki of wanting the throne all along and this was all a long con. Loki tells her that all he wants is for Sylvie to be okay. They kiss and Sylvie sends him back to the TVA. She grabs He Who Remains's TemPad and kills him as the sacred timeline starts to branch off into multiple timelines.

At the TVA, Loki comes across Hunter B-15 and Mobius who are looking at the branching timelines. He tells her what happened at The Citadel. However, Mobius does not recognise him. Confused, Loki looks around and notices and this is not the TVA he is familiar with as he sees a giant statue of Kang the Conquerer.
