I just checked and i've paid $60k in interest on my grad loans and biden has the nerve to imply we're privileged for being a graduates with "high" salaries and not deserving of student loan reform. he better fucking use that pen.
I just started having to pay my loans off in 2019, so between mid-2019 and March/April 20 I paid around $4k back. I went into my account and looked at my balance. I owe more money now than I did before I started paying because all of that went to interest. I fucking hate him and everyone else against it. He's as useless as a dildo made out of tissues.
i'm sorry i hope warren, AOC, bernie, schumer etc keep pushing and we get some actual relief so you don't have to endure the torment i have this past decade of watching your balance continue to grow and grow. i'm on pslf, but odds are that won't even get approved after my 10 years.
Me too. I hope we both get the relief. It's such bullshit. How dare he talk about how lucky we are too lol as if we even have the fucking option. If you want any hope of a decent job, unless you already came from a well-off/connected family, you have to get a degree. Even then, so many jobs want you to have advanced degrees now that that's slowly starting to become the new HS diploma.
