As a survivor, this is EXACTLY why I never came forward. I knew it would only make it worse for me (I was young and didn't know what to do and was scared shitless and didn't tell anyone until years later) and that he would never even get a slap on the wrist.

This pisses me off so fucking bad. I wish I had the courage to come forward at the time and even now, which is pointless because he's still living his perfect life with a family. I applaud everyone that can do what I couldn't. But this does send a gut wrenching signal to victims and all men that the status quo is still the norm.
