June 30, 2021 Wes Anderson took six years between live-action releases after The Grand Budapest Hotel, which was stretched to seven after The French Dispatch was delayed due to the plague. But he's already got his next film underway, with sets going up in Chinchón "resembling a desert landscape" (for some reason, Variety feels the need to qualify this by saying that it doesn't necessarily mean it's a western?). Tilda Swinton has played supporting roles in the director's last four films, going back to Moonrise Kingdom, and is onboard for a fifth.
