- Olly Alexander from Years and Years (and 'It's a Sin') has been tipped as the newest actor to play the 14th Doctor.
- He'd be the first openly gay actor to play the Doctor.
- Rumor is that Jodie Whittaker, the 13th doctor, will be leaving the show in 2023, after the 60th anniversary special. Also 2022 will not have a regular season just a few special episodes (Like Tennant's run).
